An International Danish founded retail company, covering approx. 25 countries. The headquarter is in Greater Copenhagen, and you will experience colleagues with a creative mindset, passion and good at their craft.
The Assignment
Due to internal restructuring, this position now has become necessary to fill. With reference to the CHRO, you will be responsible, as HR Controller, in working with compensation & benefits, booked salaries – benefits – social costs – ex-pat contracts – split contracts. All in an international environment – operational as well as Head of Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Key responsibilities;
- Prepare and analyse HR-related financial reports, including payroll, benefits, and compensation costs.
- Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring alignment with the overall financial strategy of the retail business.
- Monitor and report on HR budget performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Payment/salary process and system experienced/international scope.
- Payroll Management / Compensation and Benefits Management.
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Conducting regular forecasting is essential to predict future HR-related costs and resource needs. Additionally, conducting market analysis to help ensure competitive compensation structures. Also Supervising the payroll process guarantees accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages while maintaining compliance with tax laws and labour regulations across all office disciplines.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for the HR Controller who has experience from an international company. You understand financial controlling and have min. 4 years’ experience working independently meeting deadlines. Your solid experience enables you to take this special role, support the line and countries in operational challenges.
You also possess;
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and BI/ Excell competence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Payroll accounting experience, compensation & benefits.
- Acquaintance with internal policies such as ESG/SDG.
- The corporate language is English.
