A leading economics firm in Europe, has asked Nexus Interim to find an experienced CFO for an interim assignment, who possess strong stakeholder management skills and has a good track record of handling partner relations and consultants.

The assignment
You will report directly to the Managing Partner and be part of the Leadership Team, in cooperation with the COO. You work closely with the 8 Partners and the Management Team, while being overall strategic responsible for Finance/IT, Legal, and Office Management, with a headcount of 9.

Other responsibilities:

  • Finance Business Partnering, supporting the Managing Partner with analyzes, projects and business development
  • Monthly reporting to the Board of Directors and Management Team, following up on budget and forecasting
  • Support Managing Director with data and insights for yearly Partner and Consultant Assessments
  • Following up Partners and Consultants on Time log data entry, to secure correct and timely invoicing and dunning
  • Ensure reliable project budgeting and follow-up to optimize financial contribution from projects
  • Project lead CRM project, still in the scoping phase
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
  • Manage vendor relationships within Legal and external Auditing
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements

Your qualifications

You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience from working as a manager within Finance and possess strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience from a similar position in a small/medium entity facilitating numerous different projects at the same time
  • Experience from organizations working with complex consultancy projects (budgets, progress, cashflow, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Experience from working in a Partner structure
  • Good understanding project-based business and understanding of the work processes
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and organizational skills
  • Professional fluency in Danish and English. English is the corporate language.
