The Company
Our client is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company offering applications in Salesforce.com for BtB Sales Professionals and Strategic Account Management, that simplifies complex solution selling, and transforms sales frameworks and best practices into digitized, automated processes. Since 2018, the Company has added professional Salesforce Consulting services, helping clients to succeed with Salesforce. The company has expanded globally, and the business is growing fast. The company is currently an international team of 50 people, headquartered in Copenhagen, but with dedicated employees spread all over the world. They have maintained the start-up mentality with a flat structure and quick decision-making, embracing individual empowerment.

The Assignment
The Interim Finance Manager will report directly to the CEO and work in close collaboration with the leadership team. The overall responsibility will cover finance, hands-on bookkeeping, purchasing and administration. The IAM will assist the CEO in all tactical and operational matters related to budget management, forecasting and consolidated monthly reporting including accruals, cashflow management and profitability analysis. The finance function is today the Finance Manager, with some assistance from an administrative employee who is responsible for payroll, invoicing and follow up on accounts receivable.

Key deliverables:

  • Transparent and accurate monthly reporting
  • Continuous improvement of financial and commercial reporting
  • Ensure that all statutory and legal requirements are met

The activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure correct accounting
  • Responsible for month end deadlines and reporting
  • Preparation of monthly reporting for CEO and Board of Directors
  • Group budget, accounts, controls and financial reporting 
  • Standardizing and digitalizing financial and commercial reporting & KPIs
  • Overall responsible for Group compliance incl. GDPR
  • In close cooperation with the CEO, develop and lead the annual Budget Process
  • Oversee any potential financial risk and compliance across the value chain

The Candidate
We are looking for a service-minded and accommodating Finance Manager with hands-on mentality, minimum 8 years’ experience from working in finance, with core accounting skills and thorough understanding of the P&L, accruals, balance and cashflow management.

At the same time, the right candidate should have:

  • Experience with financial management in a similar company or experience from a midsized or larger company
  • Experience with financial- and business controlling as well as management reporting
  • Experience with monthly- and year-end reporting and budgeting
  • Super-user in finance systems – experience with Economic if possible

Languages: Full professional fluency in Danish and English
