Exciting interim project in an international environment. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with good communication and stakeholder management skills, who can operate and communicate at all levels, internally as well as externally.

The Assignment
Our Client has signed a contract with a Middle Eastern authority, for a study aimed at formulating the basis for the future operation of the public postal services. To strengthen the internal project management capacity, it has been decided to engage an experienced Interim Project Manager to support and reduce the workload of the Leading Partner from this project as much as possible.
Key deliverables:
- A detailed project plan and timeline
- A budget for the complete study as well as for the individual workstreams
- Reporting plan and format for internal reporting as well as external reporting to end-client
- Thorough follow up on projects progress in accordance with the plans
- Controlling of project finances following the budget
- Ensuring work stream deliverables according to plan
The Candidate
We are looking for a robust and visible project manager who focusses on getting the job done and achieving the desired results, with an ability to maintain an overview when needed, but also detail-oriented and willing to work hands-on.
We expect the right candidate to have:
- Educational background as master’s in economics, preferably supplemented by a project management certification
- Extensive project management experience from consultancy projects.
- Good project management experience with focus on administrative aspects such as planning and progress, budgets, and finance, monitoring and reporting
- Good international experience
- Good business understanding and experience
- Cross-cultural experience and understanding. Experience from the Middle East will be an advantage.
- Fluent English skills at negotiation level – both verbal and written.
Start: Mid October
Duration: 4-6 months
Location: Copenhagen, expected few travels to The Middle East
